I used to be a big NBA fan, but not amy more. That said, Embiid in this current generation of NBA stars seems to be one of the more decent ones.
It’s the homegrown NBA stars (wokeness and bad behavior) that are turning people off from the sport unlike the international stars such as Embiid, Luka Donic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
I enjoyed watching the Euro Basket tournament. More and more NBA players are coming from Europe.
Don't forget, they're getting paid really well. Millions of dollars. Back in Bird, Magic and Jordan's day, all of the players had to grind a bit. I think that kept them grounded. And they were hungry.
The international stars didn't grow up in the U.S. so they are more grateful for what they get when they come to the league to play ball. So I respect them.
But I'm not watching NBA. Not a fan of the product. It used to be fun to watch. It's no longer the case today. Just my two cents.
