Ayep. The Tet Offensive was a slaughter of the Viet Cong, which didn’t bother the Northern government one bit. The fewer VC in the South when they took over, the fewer troublemakers willing to pick up a rifle and fight. When the South was taken over, all the VC went into camps. Politically unreliable.
Those on here that were there during that time are well aware of the cruelty and murder in the VC psyche. There is a reason that commies are looked at with suspicion and watched carefully.

The 60's can be mirrored in the progressive democrats and antifa of today as to their intent down the road. It will do well for others to be wary and watchful as they intrude themselves into everyday life as 'not a commie'.
Those that have fought then over the decades know well their capability. Thus the need for the newer times version of 'Redcatchers' to augment the Redcatchers of over 50 years ago.
Just occurred to me I’ve seen this stuff before. As a kid in West Germany. The Bader-Meinhoff Gang. The Red Army Faction. The Red Brigades down in Italy. Saw one of our headquarters buildings with its front covered in plastic sheeting, because a few days before a VBIED had gone off in the parking lot. Oh, the joys the Communists are bringing to this country. Fasten your seatbelts. This is just the start.
But for now, Antifa has the full backing of the FBI, Big Media, and Big Tech.
Defend yourself against Antifa, hit back while they're attacking you, and the Media will paint as you as a "white supremacist," Tech will censor your side of the story, the FBI will arrest you for "domestic terrorism," and a Soros DA will prosecute you.
