It has been the opposite, the threat of tactical nukes and even nuclear war by Putin is constantly and routinely posted by the pro-Putin people.
All day long, every day they post it, Trump got sick of Putin constantly using the “N word” and said he would start using our nuke subs in a threatening manner to get him to drop that overused threat of his if he were still president.
NATO has massively escalated this war by introducing unlimited quantities of America’s highest tech conventional weapons. When the Russians do begin to escalate they will still use conventional missiles but they will escalate the war into the weapons staging areas in Poland with a promise to do likewise again if NATO continues its escalation. There are a couple more rungs on the escalatory ladder short of theater nukes but NATO is forcing the conflict there.

Liz Truss virtually promised using them a few weeks ago but has been quieter since. I suspect she’s been shown some simulations as to what happens to London in an exchange with Russian hardware (hint, London doesn’t fare very well). Might be worth showing the same to some of the Neocons running the West.
