Dems never “get it”......they believe themselves well-liked by voters.....even table to demean voters.

YET A BASIC TENENT OF POLITICS IS VOTERS’ DETERMINING WHETHER THE CANDIDATE LIKES THEM......THE VOTERS........

When Germany launched the offensive into France to begin WW I, their general staff calculated France and Britain would suffer such an immediate and overwhelming defeat that they would have ample time to shift their forces to deal with Russian army units which were slow to mobilize. The British professional army would not cooperate and through off the timetable. The Kaiser referred to it as a contemptible little army. Those few who survived the German onslaught from then on referred to themselves as the “old contemptible”.

We are therefore the “old deplorables”.
