This is hurting Putin bad . . somehow. He may get a hernia from laughing so hard.

“So why are they over €1,000?”

Nukes are running at 42% capacity.

A modern nuke plant is capable of better than 90% uptime. Wonder what their problem is?

UK is in a bit of a predicament too. Forecast for a KWH of electricty in 2023 is 1.37 (us dollar) per KWH. The only health danger facing Putin is that he may die of laughter.

“Sanctions War: French and German Electricity Prices Up by 1,000 Per Cent over 2021”

To those who don’t crunch energy numbers for a living, here’s an easy to see the impacts for Italy, for example:

Look at your electricity bill for each of the past 12 months and multiply each bill by 15. That is what you will pay for each of the next 12 months, if you live in most of Europe.

The above is made up of having to power 10 TIMES as much for the power itself and then bumping it up by 50% due to the lower household income in Italy. For the UK, roughly the same, for France maybe multiply by 13 as household income is a bit higher.

Bottom line, if Europeans are too whipped to fight this crap, the 20+ million ‘new arrivals’ will likely let their new host governments know what they think of it.

>>both set records on Friday for electricity prices, as the West’s sanctions war with Russia continues to bite.<<

Let them eat wind and sunshine.

No schadenfreude bitte. Our time will come with Pedo Joe at the helm. Our wisdom is just delayed foolishness.

This is what happens when you rely on Russia

maybe Europe will learn ... there’s already talk of new coal & nuclear power plants, and several plans to import LNG from the US, Canada, and Qatar are being proposed

early stages yes, but at least people are now considering it - that NEVER happened before Feb. 23rd!!

One element of the story isn’t explained well by the news media. For some odd reason....the French nuke plants have a top-heavy maintenance schedule of down-time for 2022 (more than 50-percent). It begs questions who arranged the schedule. So far, the news media has not hyped this enough to get an investigation going.

To make up for this limit...oddly enough, the French are buying German power because of prior arrangements (probably going back several years).

If you look at this...someone shuffled the deck around and had to know of some Russian event to occur.

I always thought the Prog Socialist Democrat strategy was to get Putin to Laugh Himself To Death.

It would be devastating to find out that Putin has no sense of humor.
