Bend was pretty much down the toilet by the turn of the century, and Sisters even before Bend. Sorry to hear that Redmond’s going the same way. I spent a lot of time in central Oregon in the late 70s and early 80s, mostly in Prineville, but I haven’t been up that way in years.
Prineville is about as far west as anyone could consider locating now.
