BEIJING (AP) — China on Friday said it is canceling or suspending dialogue with the United States on a range of issues from climate change to military relations and anti-drug efforts in retaliation for a visit this week to Taiwan by U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The Foreign Ministry said dialogue between U.S. and Chinese regional commanders and defense department heads would be canceled, along with talks on military maritime safety.
Cooperation on returning illegal immigrants, criminal investigations, transnational crime, illegal drugs and climate change will be suspended, the ministry said.

I am no fan of Pelosi’s and this may not have been the smartest thing to do, but pivoting away from our obsession with the dancing queen and focusing on our real adversary was long overdue. Her stand has finally forced the discussion.

True. Even abiding by the climate agreements, China, one of the worst pourers on the planet, was allowed more years to come into compliance than the U.S. or other nations. China used our own country’s woke leaders to cripple us industrially, while they continue to build conventional power plants.
