I have posted from the start here that I disagree with her action. But in an increasingly fascistic state, whereby big biz has bought the guv and the guv is bribing even smaller businesses to help in the imposition of a totalitarian state, I don’t think your argument pertains here.
Most medical facilities were bribed to help in the takedown of our citizenry, and the mask has been part of their program for psychological and physical harm.
It is not the inherent right of any medical practitioner to slip poison into their patients—and the mask is not far from doing and being just that.
Again, that is a false equivalence: This is a licensed medical professional trying to enforce an unhealthy element “masked” as public health element. Malpractice in spirit, at least, but also part of a mass conditioning, totalitarian agenda.
I was advised that I had to wear a mask at my Veterinarian’s office so I went to my car, grabbed and proudly displayed my hot pink “women for Trump” mask...
Her problem is that she lives in the wrong place.
The mask at medical facilities rule is lifted if the county shows an actual decline in Covid Cases.
We have been mask free at the Doctors for several months now
And this woman would have a much stronger case to make if her opposition to wearing a mask was based on this point. But it's not.
Many studies show the harms of the masks.
And she of course was objecting from more of a civil liberties angle, which is attempting (again, poorly done and misplaced here IMO) to counter the ultimately more dangerous totalitarianism for which masks are a tool.
Nobody who tries to extend “civil liberty” protections into private business establishments is ever going to get a sympathetic ear from me.

Over the last two years my respect for medical institutions has plummeted. After reading this...I don’t think there is any more room to descend.

What will the faceshield do to stop the spread of a virus?
Think of it like a fart, it enters to atmosphere from a body, and you cannot escape the smell. THAT is what the masks or the shields are TRYING to protect you from.
If you put on a good enough respirator, you can stop it, but your O2 levels will drop. If you have one lung, or emphysema, it can be life threatening to wear a mask that really protects you. The paper mask and shields, are a symbol. PERIOD .
So why go around doing what people say?
With that said, I wear a mask when I go into my doctors, and I give them the 3rd degree the entire time. I always end with one question, WHY are we wearing a mask again? Their answer is, “it will slow the spread”.
I wonder where we heard that from before?
Different pathogens have different ways of spreading. I agree that a faceshield does next to nothing to stop the spread of covid, but the lady in the story wasn't trying to avoid covid, she was trying to be seen by a doctor. It's a stupid rule, but she wasn't in a position to compel the office to change it.
She was in the perfect position to change it, except nobody backed her up. It only takes one brave individual to inspire others. I guess the others were not inspired. EVERYONE IS SALUTING Der Fuhrer, until just one doesn’t, and then another and another. Mind you I am not comparing the mandate or the mask to the holocaust, just that people follow authority. It is no different wearing the masks, then saluting authority. It is the same thing. An appeal to authority.
