According to Gizmodo Hawaii uses more oil for electricity than any other state. In 2015, more than 67% of its electricity generation came from oil, while more than 15% came from coal. These fossil fuels are all imported from out of state, helping to make Hawaii’s electricity costs the highest in the country and nearly three times the national average.
This will be an interesting experiment that we all on the mainland can watch.

I predict brown outs leading to blackouts. What is the saying?
What did democrats use for lights before candles? The answer is electricity.

Hawaiians gave us Maxie quirk o, and now made this choice. Let’s see what happens to stupid people when they’re left to their own devices. Seriously, let’s just watch, nothing else.

I have a friend who relocated to Hawaii to retire. Looking forward to “on the scene” reports as this unfolds.

“What Happens When The Last Coal Ship Leaves Hawaii?”
Let me take a stab at that question.
Once they have to compete with the Navy for Oil reserves, the Chi-Coms will make their move n Taiwan and the Navy will need ever ship in the Pacific.
The Nave will “commandeer” all oil in Hawaii for the “war effort” ... sorry Hawaiians, you’ll just need to party like its 1899.

Why just blight the beautiful vistas with forests of windmills and clad Diamond Head with solar panels topped with some windmills. The tourists on Waikiki Beach won’t mind the new look.
