This is a removal of the Alaskan brigades from the 25th Infantry Division and placing them under a reformed 11th Airborne Division. Only one of the infantry brigades in the 11th Airborne Division is actually airborne. No new brigades are being formed, as far as I know.

Wouldn’t this be the third, after the 82nd and 101st?

Maybe we can have a horse cavalry division, too.

“Soldiers stationed in Alaska will soon ditch the 25th Infantry Division’s “Tropic Lightning” patch...”

“Tropic Lightning”...stationed in Alaska. The Milley/Austin team is worse than we thought...if that is possible.

Since nobody asked:

The 11th Airborne Division (”Arctic Angels”) is a United States Army airborne formation, first activated on 25 February 1943, during World War II. Consisting of one parachute and two glider infantry regiments, with supporting troops, the division underwent rigorous training throughout 1943.

How many Fags, Lesbians, and Trannies will be allocated to this division? And, which appropriate pronouns will the Woke Army demand that the remaining Alpha Males must use in addressing them or they will be discharged from service?
Oh, by the way, Recruitment is Way Down. I don’t understand why!/S

This new designation and location will probably keep most of the woke away. PT in the cold. Rec Center activities, hunting, fishing, flying, checkers, chess, cards, and snowmobiling;)

I always wanted to serve in the Airborne units in Alaska, but those assignments were tougher to get than Japan (1000 US Army on mainland) or Okinawa....
