So this guy is saying that without the tapes Nixon would have left office in 77?
To: All
I saw this documentary and some guy named Forrest Gump reported activity at the Watergate which started it all.

The primary lie of all journalists isn’t even a political slant. It’s the lie that they know what is going on.

You can type the word “watergate” entirely with your left hand, if you don’t capitalize.

Nixon wasn’t as bad as people now seem to think.
But he brought HIMSELF down.

Journalists have been successfully waging war against Republican politicians for many decades.
But now it has become so obvious and so one-sided that it is a little embarrassing. Time to run a story saying, “Journalists didn’t destroy Nixon, you know. Everyone says we did, but it just wasn’t really like that ... And we didn’t try to ruin Trump either. Even though he is literally Hitler.”

For those of us who had to suffer through the RATS’ “Watergate”, it was the biggest sh*t show I’ve ever seen in my life. A bigger farce than Bonzo’s FIB J6 Sh*t Show.

The real American tragedy is that the whole Watergate thing was totally unnecessary. Nixon won 49 states in the 1972 election. The purpose of the Watergate break-in was to steal George McGovern's campaign secrets. If the break-in had not happened, Nixon would have won 49 states. Not because Nixon was the 2nd coming of George Washington, but because George McGovern was a left-wing lunatic fringe moonbat. And the Democrats were in total chaos, which is how McGovern ended up with the dem nomination in the first place.
Added to that was Thomas Eagleton, who dropped out after it was revealed that he had spent time in various hospitals and received shock therapy. Of course, his withdrawal from the ticket denied the American voter the only opportunity they ever had to vote for a politician who had a doctor's note saying he was sane when he left the hospital.
And Watergate led to the Nixon resignation, the withdrawal from Vietnam, the murder of millions of people in Southeast Asia by the Communists, Jimmy Carter, stagflation, and so on. I would blame Watergate for Disco and Polyester, but that would be a stretch.

Nixon’s transgressions are like little white lies compared to the evil criminality of Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer their cohorts and complicit media.

So then, some politician's political operatives spied on the political opposition and engaged in political 'dirty tricks', 'rat-fuking', and in general all the normal things that every politician of every stripe has done since the dawn of civilization ... but Wood-Stein have made 'exposing' all this into a full blown lifelong career ??? Well, laa-di-daaa .... isn't that so precious of them.
What's completely lost on the populace général is that every politician is a corrupt screwball and potential wanna-be tyrant ... there is no altruism in politics.
