Brookline,Massachusetts...the *very* “progressive” Boston suburb where The Tank Commander (Mike Dukakis) got his start in politics...placed a ban on fossil fuel heating systems in new construction a couple of years ago. IIRC that also applied to anyone who wants to replace an old,or inefficient,heating system.

They can't tell people the truth that city gas pipe infrastructure is falling apart. They're terrified of having the bond ratings drop.

So far, Florida isn’t pulling this crap. I can’t speak for the blue hives in the state, however, such as Tampa-Hillsborough or Miami-Dade.
