As president, Desantis could do what he’s good at: develop a focused, disciplined MAGA agenda, and hire good, smart, loyal people to help him get it done. He’d also fire Fauci.
As VP, Trump can tweet and lead rallies.

I’m not anti-Trump in any way. Best prez ever. But now he has so many enemies for so many reasons, so many false accusations that many people believe, I think DeSantis is the stronger candidate.
Thought so since the day he went to Brandon, FL to announce end of masking if companies didn’t want their employees masked. Free choice. And the irony was wonderful.He has his enemies and critics too, far fewer than Trump has.

He hasn’t said that publicly. Some people claim he’s said it in a private gathering, but he hasn’t said it where he’s on record. What I HAVE heard him say is something like, governing means “doing things, achieving things , not tweeting”
I prefer Trump for president in 2024, with DeSantis as VP or someone else. We need Florida to stay Red and DeSantis can do that. If Trump can take off enough heads in the four years of the 2024 election (Democrat AND Republican), he may decide to make way for DeSantis. Whatever Republican wins in 2024, it is going to be a bloodbath - politically speaking - and Trump is the best at it.
DeSantis has fewer enemies BECAUSE he had not been on the national stage YET when he gets there believe me he will be DESTROYED just as Trump was!!

All else equal, I’d prefer the one who won’t be 78 years old on Inauguration Day. Think about it.
The most important skill for an effective ceo is the ability to hire quality people who are loyal and committed to his agenda
Trump lacks that critical skill.
The dangers we are in today are too great for us to be led by somebody who hires backstabbers and enemies of freedom and the MAGA movement. We don’t have the luxury of choosing a leader who hires people who hate us.
I like DeSantis and if Trump doesn’t run he is my first choice. But if Trump runs he has my support. I will not be divided from that by those on the left that want to sow conflict.

I think you misunderstand the depth of The Swamp.
Trump and DeSantis don't get to pick just anyone they want.
Especially going forward, AT [After Trump(1)].
The Left has put everyone on notice that they will singlemindedly destroy ANYONE who works for The Loathed Leader (Trump OR DeSantis).
They did it in Trump 1, and they faced no repercussions.
They'll double down on that course of action from here on out.
