You can beat the rap but you can’t beat the ride.

They can arrest you and drag you downtown and do the handcuffs and leg irons, and then the cavity searches and lock you up for 12 to 24. All for the fun of it.

I wonder what law she broke that they can charge her with.

She did not break one that exists.

They will have to make up a new one for her case.

That will cost a lot of time and money.

She will be held financially liable for that effort, at Govt and Lawyer rates.

Despite the warning, Gomez said she was encouraged to continue sharing her story by the judge overseeing her probation, who reportedly told the mom that her bravery would be rewarded and assured her that her probabtion would not be affected.
