Angeli Rose Gomez says she has been threatened by law enforcement after speaking to the media and describing being handcuffed by Uvalde, Texas police outside of Robb Elementary School before she ran into the building herself to retrieve her own children while a gunman was barricaded inside.
Gomez has been highly critical of the police response to the shooting late last month, which ended with more than 20 dead. In an interview with CBS News this week, she described yelling at police outside the building while they waited, begging them to go in or give her a vest so she could rush in herself. Gomez has said that she did eventually go in to retrieve her two young children. She also claimed to see police pepper spray and tackle other parents trying to do the same.
Gomez said when she arrived at the school, she was almost immediately butting heads with officials on the scene, specifically a U.S. Marshal who told her she needed to stay away from the scene.
“He said, ‘Well, we’re going to have to arrest you because you’re being very uncooperative,'” she said. “I said, well you’re going to have to arrest me because I’m going in there.”

Uvalde is turning out to be just another little third world Mexican city tucked inside the borders of the United States. What a comedy this turned out to be.

Sad thing is we have many cities, large and small, some majority black, some majority white, that are just as screwed up though maybe in different ways.
The level of corruption and incompetence is incredible. The police have threatened her for exercising her right to free speech.

Perhaps, but that doesn’t have anything to do with police not doing their jobs - unless there’s evidence the police are also convicted criminals?

They’ll find something. Or “mistakenly” charge her with something, then let her rot in prison while it’s “sorted out” by the justice system.
She’s probably on probation because she was an easy target down there. Looking at recent events, I’d guess the cops avoid or ignore all the difficult incidents.
Conservatives who still believe that the RINOS are weak and cowardly, rather than seeing them for what they really are....corrupt actors who pretend to represent Conservative voters, are no better than Leftists who think that people like Obama and Bernie Sanders are champions for the working class.
When I see people making comments here like “too bad Republicans have no balls”, I just think “good Lord, people on our side are just as dumb as the other side”.

I was just reading the section of Bill O’Reilly’s Killing the Mob in which the omerta code of silence was transferred to the US by the Sicilian immigrants coming into NYC by the thousands.
People learned to keep totally silent. Judges, governors, prosecutors, lawyers and police were on the take.

Urban “snitches get stitches” and now the threats from social media vengeance, doxxing and the useless practice of agreeing to testify against vicious criminals who are routinely let go on legal technicalities and bail rules or serve a short time in prison and get out to punish the jurors and witnesses and their families.
Times change but the faults of the human race under Free Will remain.
