The last Salem “witch” to be exonerated has been pardoned more than 329 years after she was convicted of witchcraft as part of the Salem Witch Trials.
On Thursday, Massachusetts lawmakers exonerated Elizabeth Johnson Jr of witchcraft, making her the last “witch” to be pardoned.
Between 1692 and 1693, dozens of women were hanged for witchcraft and hundreds more were accused of being “witches” at the trials in Salem.

The technology has improved. Back then, you could only determine if someone was a witch by submerging them in water. Now we can run a DNA test.

The latest form of Witchcraft is Climate Change. Just like all kinds of zany things would be blamed on Witches our so called scientific age blames all kinds of zany things on supposively man made Climate Change .
My uncle treated her direct descendant decades ago at McLean Hospital, the famous Boston legacy asylum … a full-on manic-depressive, probably quite like her forbearer.

Fourteen women were executed at Salem. That’s not dozens,
I’m descended from a sister of John Alden Jr. who was one of the last people accused of being a witch.
All total...around 20 were executed and I think six or seven were men. Now, that does not include the couple that died before their case came up or died in prison.
Witches back then could never imagine how liberal society is about them today, with college courses, voodoo phone apps, and elementary school satan clubs.
