Northern Virginia Republicans chose retired Navy captain and political newcomer Hung Cao to face Democratic Rep. Jennifer Wexton in the race for the 10th District.
Cao is a refugee from Vietnam and an immigrant to the United States, according to his campaign website.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School before attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Cao served in the Navy for 25 years.
Voters had to choose from 11 candidates using ranked choice ballots, and counting went late into Saturday night.
Virginia’s newly redrawn 10th District, which instead of reaching west through Frederick County and east into Fairfax, now reaches from Loudoun County, south through Prince Willian, Fauquier, and Rappahannock counties.
Loudoun County (in the National news frequently for the past two years) dominates the district, with more than half the population living inside the county lines.
The current Representative is Jennifer Wexton (D) and she will be defeated in November. I have little doubt.
How can they justify ranked choice voting?
I hope Geo Soros burns a LOT of his money in the upcoming race. There was a huge turnout yesterday at the various polling places. Hung is a GREAT American and is a GREAT candidate.
When people hear what he says, they are automatically convinced.
Faithful Christian, Conservative fighter, Hung is persuasive and articulate.

The story of Hung’s departure along with his brother and sisters during the fall of Saigon is amazing by itself. He was four years old. His mother sewed notes and money into his clothing in hopes that, if separated, there would be a kind person to help him.
He made it to freedom in a miraculous way.
There is a great deal of Asian support in the 10th District. They KNOW about Communism and they SEE what is happening here in the United States.
I firmly believe God’s hand is on this honorable man.
The story of his U.S. Navy career is by itself, fascinating.

To expand on the issue a little. I dont expect that this ‘mass immigration event’ that the democrats have orchestrated will turn out the way they think. Legal immigrant voters coming in from venesuela, indonesia and honduras and other places of corruption will recognize the democrats and the corruption of government. It stinks like death to them and they’re going to vote against it ultimately. Especially if the democrats keep pushing to the left like this. These are people who were not miseducated by the american government indoctrincation centers. The incoming population knows that a tail is not a leg. And they’re not going to vote for five leg dogs.
That’s what I see anyway.

I have had the opportunity to speak with many Latinos here in Northern Virginia. There is definitely a strong current that moves these friends toward conservative politicians. The same is obviously true in the African-American community.
The Marxist’ “demographic change” (it has another popular label) effort to establish a forever Democrat foothold may backfire - big time.

How big of a factor is this? Thomas Jefferson High School is a “magnet” school for science and math, for the whole county, which is most of the congressional district’s population. The school was threatened with closure, because the student body had too many Asians, not enough blacks. Basically, they were just going to dissolve the school, and repurpose the name and building for just another crappy public school. Asian parents revolted. (Most of the white parents are BLM NPCs who consider Asians “white,” rather than proof that this has nothing to do with white supremacy.)
How about “I’m Hung!”
