Many here don’t support Putin, nor the invasion. I don’t. But I also don’t support Zelensky either, because of Soros’ ties to him, funding his rise to power, etc. I also don’t support Zelensky because of the WEF ties to him, all of the corruption in Ukraine still ongoing under Zelensky’s nose, Zelensky shutting down all opposition parties (painting them with a broad brush), shutting down all opposition media, effectively ending free speech and free elections. It’s a dictatorship there now under Zelensky.
So two dictatorships; So I support neither.
And so I primarily focus on Biden using Ukraine as a shiny object to deflect attention away from his abysmal record at home, how Dems are all-in on Ukraine, tje U.S. being 30 trillion in debt, we don’t protect our own borders, etc. And I also focus on how this is Europe’s problem, they can all together handle Russia, they’ve mooched off of the U.S. for too long, and Russia won’t attack a NATO member anyway.
But I get attacked anyway. I bet you will too.
And it will clearly be Biden supporters attacking you if they do or they will deflect to Putin! Putin! Putin! like a Maddow bot.
And no doubt the Emotional Appeals will be used.

If we rebuild it, does that mean we rebuild all the corruption, too? Does that mean that we rebuild the gravy train that sends Hunter his payoffs, er, consulting fees?

If Ukraine could just recover the billions stolen from the country by American politicians, Yelensky and other thieves who stole the treasure of the country, there should be plenty of money to rebuild Ukraine.
1. The orginal Marshall Plan (a) was for all of western Europe, not a single country like Ukraine, thus the scale of the aid would be much less than what was needed for western Europe after WWII, and (b) Europe collectively matched the U.S. dollar for dollar.
2. The plan (a) cost the U.S. 2% of the 1948 U.S. GDP, not 5%, but was expensed out from 1948 to 191, and (b) that $13 billion in todays dollars would be $115 billion, which would be .005% of today’s U.S. GDP of 22 trillion.
3. Your complaint (a) overstates the cost of the original Marshall Plan then or now, (b) ignores it was matched by a deceimated Europe at the time, (c) presumes such a plan would cost for the single country of Ukraine the same as was the original plan for all of western Europe, (d) ignores how healthy western Europe is economically today, and (d) altogther assumes a burden for the U.S. that will likely by far far less than your presumptions.
4. I expect that any such plan is also going to include U.S.-EU joint demands on Russia for reparations as well.
Just image the amount of kink-backs that can be generated from this!!!!!!
