Gorsuch went liberal on us, on this decision. But John Roberts voted with the conservatives.

When was the last time a single liberal justice jumped over to the other side on a decision? How about the last time a single lib tipped a decision to the conservative side? Ever?

Extremely rarely.

Believe it or not there have been a couple of 5-4 decisions where it was Ginsburg. I forget what they were, but it did occur. But literally only a couple of times in her decades on the bench.
