White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said parents who are worried about their baby’s immediate needs for formula amid a nationwide shortage should “call their doctor” in a press briefing on Thursday.
After a reporter asked Psaki what should parents who cannot find baby formul do, she detailed the steps the White House is taking to address the baby formula shortage.

Simple baby formula recipe from the past
Mix:
1 can evaporated milk
18 oz water
2 tbsp karo
Refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days
Truth is that I remember mom putting whole milk in a baby bottle and warming it up a bit... back in the 50s & 60s. We all survived quite well, thank you.
