President Trump actually bombed Syria for using Chemical Weapons as I recall. They crossed Obama’s red line before but nothing happened. They crossed it again and Trump took action.

BTW, I’ve always wondered about Assad’s chemical weapons. Did his military develop them, or were they sent to Syria in 2003 by Saddam to evade the UN Weapons inspectors?

Neither. It was later shown to be a False Flag. Very common when the media takes one side in a war.

“President Trump actually bombed Syria for using Chemical Weapons as I recall”

While not a full blown neocon, Trump was and is ultimately a do-gooder.

A terrible basis for foreign policy.

I’m sure there’s cause to intervene in Darfur too...for simpleton do-gooders:

“The War in Darfur, also nicknamed the Land Cruiser War,[note 1] is a major armed conflict in the Darfur region of Sudan that began in February 2003 when the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM) and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) rebel groups began fighting against the government of Sudan, which they accused of oppressing Darfur’s non-Arab population.[28][29] The government responded to attacks by carrying out a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Darfur’s non-Arabs. This resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands of civilians and the indictment of Sudan’s president, Omar al-Bashir, for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court.[30]”

Far, FAR more civilian slaughter than Ukraine. At least 10X.

And no cries from the FR neocon and do-gooder factions...and I mean NONE...for US intervention in Darfur.

Which has at least the level of US national interests at stake.

Effin’ hypocrites.
