Russia used a diesel submarine in the Black Sea to strike Ukrainian military targets with Kalibr cruise missiles, the first time Moscow has announced the use of its submarine fleet to hit its former Soviet neighbor.

The Russian defense ministry released a video showing a volley of Kalibr missiles emerging from the sea and soaring off into the horizon - to what the ministry said were Ukrainian military targets.

This is the first time Russia's military has reported using submarine strikes against Ukrainian targets, Interfax news agency reported on Friday.

Hi.

Makes sense.

Launch from a surface ship, surface ship gets sunk.

Launch from a sub, good chance for survival.

Maybe Ivan is learning from his mistakes?

or we can do it for them.

The US is much weaker and the world knows it. As for your war mongering, let me guess, you have never been in one?
I am disgusted by all the Ukie war cheerleaders. Just where did you all come from? Didn’t our failed Iraq/ Afghanistan 20 year war teach you something?

Whatever.

Russia still needs to get out of Ukraine, get out of Georgia, return the Kurile Islands, and then denazify itself or we can do it for them

/\

What ever ?

That’s your counter point ?
Your rebuttal ?

So now the USA should not only help get Ukraine back, but all the others too ?

.”We” ?

We are not the damn global police.

Maybe europe should start paying for and fighting their own damn wars,

I’d settle for them sending forces to US to help US stop the rape and murder and invasion on OUR border.

We.

Pffft.

We already answered that question when we accepted the relinquishment of nukes from the Ukes in the Budapest Accession to the United Nations senate-ratified Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. We agreed to assure Uke ‘sovereignty and borders’ as of 1994.

Why won’t Russia do that, do you think?

Maybe because they don't want NATO 300 miles from Moscow?

Any true Christian would agree with what I wrote.

You’re on the wrong side of history if you think the leftist government of the USA is a worthy cause.

Rota is a USN base, and presumably internal security is provided by the USN. I dont see why Gibraltar would be safer from Russian agents.

The Ukies are being grinded down, still calling ( desperation) for money, arms, ammo, men, ….doesn’t sound like winning…. when Vlad closes the Donbass pocket, they have no choice but to retreat to the Dniepner.

You Americans should care, exactly because it threatens to wreck the entire world, with or without US involvement.

You might like the movie “Spartan” with Val Kilmer. He fights against the corruptocracy.

Also, there’s the old film “3 Days of the Condor”. In my view, even better acting and intrigue.

The lesson from Iraq, etc, among other lessons, is that a people must do their own fighting, that you cant fight for them if they are unwilling.

Earlier lessons from lots of other wars is that the world should not tolerate naked aggression by one country on another. Maybe that part of history was not taught in your schools.

Why? If USA and our allies stayed out of this how could it wreck the world? Please paint this scenario.

***We did? Do ya got signed international agreements like the UN NNPT? Or is it the standard mumblings of some state department bureaucrats who were over ridden by presidential signatures... I think it was the latter, overridden, over written, quashed, and countermanded by official policy. Feel free to submit examples that counteract that viewpoint; so far no other person on your side has been able to do it.

The Russians have been trying to close the Donbass pocket for the last eight weeks.

Maybe the U.S shouldn’t have gotten involved in propping up a corrupt regime in the south. The dead are on the hands of the fools that sent them there.
