Growing number of Kremlin insiders 'feel Ukraine invasion was a 'catastrophic' mistake and fear Putin could use NUKES... but Vladimir is dismissing all criticism of his plan'

Kremlin insiders said Ukraine invasion will 'doom' Russia to years of isolation They warn Russia will be left with a crippled economy due to global sanctions

It comes as Russian force's death toll rose to 20,900 according to Kyiv estimates

A growing number of senior Kremlin insiders are said to feel Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine was a 'catastrophic' mistake, and fear the Russian strongman could resort to using nuclear weapons as Moscow's position worsens.

The insiders said Putin is dismissing all criticism by officials who warn of the damaging political and economic cost of his war plan, which they fear could set Russia back for years amid growing military losses and crippling Western sanctions.

The ten sources, who wished to remain anonymous, told Bloomberg that they believe Putin will continue with his invasion and the move will 'doom' Russia to years of isolation and tension with other countries.

The Kremlin insiders warned Russia will be left with a crippled economy and limited global influence. They also voiced fears that Putin could turn to the drastic measure of using nuclear weapons against his enemies if his invasion of Ukraine fails.

The warning comes as Moscow suffered another devastating blow today after its force's death toll rose to 20,900, according to Kyiv estimates.

After weeks of having their assaults on Kyiv and other cities thwarted at every turn by battling Ukrainian troops, Putin's commanders retreated and are now refocusing their efforts on the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk, along with other regions of Ukraine's eastern flank.

See, Russia has only one answer here and that is to win the war in Ukraine.

If they don’t, their nation is going to be in shambles and will collapse. If they do win, it will be in shambles but with options and still in danger of complete collapse.

Basically, it was a disaster and is a losing scenario where only winning might, maybe, keep up a few options for them.

Only the good Russian people can stop Putin. He will cause war as long as they let him or until the world fights back to stop him. He may already have Hitlarian goals in Europe.

Russia will accomplish its objectives right now at get another 15% of Ukraine and calling it a win. But they are looking at losing long term as an insurgency will drag on, throw in regular bombings in Moscow subways and theatres for years, and nonstop conflict. Throw in increased pressure when it comes to sanctions and NATO being in Scandanavia.

Maybe the definition of a Pyrrhic victory.

Communist expansionism wasn’t enough. Russia perpetrates both communist and neo-Nazi expansionism while issuing projections against the nations invaded by it.

On the truth of the symbol of the Azov regiment (with particular attention to 5:20)...

There’s got to be another reason Rasputin started this war. It’s too crazy. Basically I think he thought it would be over in hours. I thought so too. But now he’s committed and damn the torpedoes. Full steam ahead.

I was mildly understanding of little vladdie’s fear of NATO expansion before the war. I wasn’t in favor of NATO expansion, myself. And, I still believe that. objectively, NATO expansion makes the world a more dangerous place.

But ironically, and sadly, little vladdie’s war has proven the necessity of NATO expansion. little vladdie’s original plan was obviously to take all Ukraine, as he endeavors to re-incorporate the lost satellite states (Ukraine, the Baltics, the ‘stans, etc.) to russia proper, and intimidate border states back into russian orbit.

little vladdie must be destroyed, russia must be crippled. The west has enough troubles without this megalomaniacal mutant running around with nukes.

They have an option.
Declare: “We have taught them a lesson!” and pull back.
The sooner they do it, the better.
This option diminishes the longer fighting goes on.
I am really surprised how stubborn Putin is.

Define “win.” Even if the conquer Ukraine, what changes for Russia?

Putin has isolated himself and his country and has condemned his population to many more years of third world status.

Putin should have stuck to taking the Donbas region and maybe a slice over to the ports of Kherson and Mariupol, a corridor to Crimea. Hubris. Draw a line from Kharkov over to Mariupol, using the bend of the river. Instead, he seems to have thought that Ukraine would be easy to take and his military was top of the line.

That’s not an option.

In no way does that help Russia as a nation. Admitting fault would just rapidly accelerate the collapse of Russia.

You would say that is warranted, I agree. Not a single person in the Kremlin would think that is a good option.
