COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina has given the greenlight to firing-squad executions, a method codified into state law last year after a decade-long pause in carrying out death sentences because of the state’s inability to procure lethal injection drugs...

...Lawmakers set about tweaking state law to get around the lethal injection drug situation. Legislation that went into effect in May made the electric chair the state’s primary means of execution while giving inmates the option of choosing death by firing squad or lethal injection, if those methods are available....

Good. The libs engineered the situation by pressuring drug companies. Hopefully bullets will never be in short supply.

I am confused over all the debate about executions.

One needle in a vein and a massive bolus of fentanyl or other opiate. I could do it in less than a minute once an IV line is place. You go to sleep and die painlessly.

Good start, but a single bullet to the lower back of the skull (the medulla oblongata) is an instantaneous (finger will not even reflexively pull the trigger of a gun held to someone’s head), and (presumably) painless death. Surely an easily adjustable device can be manufactured for a pittance (as long as the government, at any level, isn’t involved). Then there’s #10 cpdiii’s easy and logical approach (fentanyl may be too dangerous to work with, but heroin seems to have a long and reliable history of painless ‘go to sleep’ death)...and what is it we use on dogs?

Except for libtard sensibilities how did this problem arise?
How pleasant is execution of the death penalty supposed to be?

Should we give a man a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, dose him with Viagra, and throw him into a padded room full of young women in heat? Or a woman into a room full of young studs on Viagra? Or a trans whatever into a room full of unicorns on horse dewormer?

This brouhaha is just another symptom of our deference to the most INSANE MORONS in our society. We pride ourselves as AMERICANS that the majority DO NOT tyrannize the minority that we have now come to the point that we tolerate the tyranny imposed by the minority on EVERYONE else!

Whose fault is it really? The tyrannical minority, or the much too tolerant majority? Why has the majority not come to the point that it says, “OK, we’ve given ear and thought to your views on the matter (name it). You’re nuts! Now, go away and don’t come back!”

I FEEL MUCH BETTER NOW!

Don’t even have to do that. Repurpose a gas chamber and use industrial nitrogen. Nitrogen narcosis and then death will ensue.

A guillotine using opposing blades with concave cutting edges, like a "guillotine" cigar cutter, but using pneumatically powered blades.
