Between Field Marshal and General is Colonel-general in most euro armies.
If the Russians had the rank of Colonel-General, I suspect they eliminated it, somehow thinking it would save them money.
Before I chimed in, I poked around on the internet. I found no information about any such rank in the Russian army currently.
