Maria Baronova resigned as editor-in-chief of Russia Today, a state-run media operation also known as RT, last week after condemning Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. She’s well aware that anyone who speaks out against the Kremlin could be in danger – but personal safety is the least of Baronova’s concerns.
"The problem is, I know these people very well. They never send threats, they just kill, so there is kind of [a] weird silence around me, but I really think we’re on the brink of a nuclear war right now. I’m not exaggerating," Baronova told Fox News Digital from Moscow, via a WhatsApp call.

Things you should realize about Putin’s personality; and these are constants that have never changed:
1.) Putin is envious, possessed by an entrenched vice of greed since he was a young man;
2.) Putin is vengful;
3.) Putin in a fight feins peace, then when his opponent’s guard is down he attacks again;
4.) Putin makes no distinction between his own person, the state, and Russia - IOW, if protests occur in Russia, he considers them to be a personal attack on him, not on his policies;
5.) Putin is parinoid, and has been so since his days as a KGP officer. He used to hold his meetings in an abandoned elevator shaft at KGB headquarters;
6.) Putin is a wreckless opportunist, not a thoughtful planner. He never considers likely reprocussions or the possible consequences of his actions, and he never changes course once he sets his mind upon a particular goal. If he seems to retreat or give up a goal, he will soon again pursue that same “prize” undeterred.
These are all proven constants of Vladimir Putin’s personna. And for these reasons I argue that he will not stop with Ukraine.
Putin cannot and will not accept that his course of action is wrong, no matter the objections of his advisors or citizenry. If Russians protests his policies or actions, then Putin automatically assumes that these protetsers must “not be Russians” - but rather the “puppets” of the U.S.
Again, this has been the constant behavior of Vladimir Putin since he removed all Democratic processes that had begun to form in Russia, following the collapse of the USSR. By the time Putin’s second year in office was completed, he had vanquished these reforms, as he began to solidify his grip on power.
Slow Joe would look at incoming nukes and say, “Look! Fireworks! Yay!”
It's a buying opportunity. Want to have a million dollars? Invest ten million dollars today. Can't see a bottom any time soon, as stocks get hammered.
A person can be, as I am, for the millions of good people in Russia and against Putin.
Oh you screamed muh democracy every time Trump spoke the truth. Your last dying thought will be Trump. It’s so sad.
After all these years of deep fakes, false flags, AI images, CIA FBI and DIA ops, etc it’s really hard not to be suspicious of everything.
Klaus says so?
***your cancer won’t start for several years.***
Reminds me of a Barney Miller episode in which a man threatens to kill himself if the cops get too close!
They do and he grabs a test tube full of chemical and swallows it down proclaiming “I will be dead of cancer in thirty years!”
Be good if Adidas went out of business. Along with many of the sanctimonious slaver corporations like Apple etc.
Great movie
Get a wheelbarrow to hold your money.
She could kill me with both hands tied behind her back!
P#ss off. Not a fan on Putin either. Anyone paying attention for years knew he was cold blooded.
Exactly. Why is if so hard for some dumbasses to understand that? I sympathize with the decent citizens on both sides of this who are being made to suffer due to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
I also hope the media propaganda fog can be pierced enough in the near future so that we might have a better idea of what is really going on.
“no more track suits for gopniks???”
I’m sure they’ll still have plenty of Chinese-made Adidas knockoffs.
“This seems a little over the top for me.”
Not exactly.
The Russians are out of mil transports and are shipping in commercial vehicles to move troops and supplies.

They’re also moving in armored trains.

The Russians may be nearing nearing desperation as some of their troops are stranded.
There was a video last night on Youtube of 2 UKR SAMs intercepting and detonating what appeared to be an inbound tactical missile some miles away. It detonated several thousand feet in the air. The fireball was very large and easily reached the ground. There was no blast report in the 15 sec.s after the blast when the video ended (so >3 miles away). The video has been pulled.
Our domestic Communists are all howling for Putin’s blood and encouraging everyone to support Ukraine. Doesn’t that seem a bit odd to you?
