If we get into a serious economic recession who is going to pay for all the welfare and social services for these millions of newly arrived migrants when there is little work for them? The costs could be absolutely enormous.

My FRiend I’m paying $3.45 a gallon for gas here in NJ. And there’s an oil refinery an hour north of me. Last year at this time it was $1.50. As far as I’m concerned we’re in a recession.

I lived through the ‘70’s as a young adult.

I don’t want to relive those days again but it appears to be happening.

That's the big question. That's an ‘’unfunded liability'' like a lot of state pension plans that have been raided or borrowed against for short term spending goals. Yeah, you're right. There is going to be Hell to pay at some point.
