Buck head is not a safe area.
Buckhead is the name of an area whose residents pretend it’s not Atlanta, kind of like the Upper East Side and Upper West Side of Manhattan. No matter how expensive the condo, it’s still a hop, skip, and a carjacking away from the ‘hood.
I saw Paces Ferry address and thought it was closer.
That plan is genius. Transporting them to wherever for holding. And Fani Willis isn’t the savior of the Fulton DAs office that some thought. She isn’t going to be any better than Howard, who is now working for the Soros-type Gwinnett DA for some unknown reason. And the impound lot in Cumming is absolutely marvelous. So, they get locked up in Buckhead. Processed in Henry or Butts. North 2 hours for their car. Then get locked up again in Cumming/Forsyth. Rinse and Repeat. EFFIN’ AWESOME!!!
Sadly, the Republican “leadership” here is absolutely loathsome. Corrupt on a scale that would rival anywhere.
Kemp is just dumb, greedy and corrupt. Finally making some money after 20+ years in office.
Raffensberger....nothing more needs to be said about him.
Ralston and Miller control everything and nothing happens unless they approve of it.
And last but not least, Lt Gov Geoff Duncan.....he’s the reason Buckhead won’t vote for themselves. He’s the one that has taken it upon himself to make Georgia “the tech capitol of the east”. Given the political leanings of the other “tech hubs” in this country, not sure how many folks want the state to be flooded with liberal hipster tech folks. It’s becoming another North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and coming soon, South Carolina.
And some of these secret developments they’re approving are complete bulls**t. All done in secret, until it’s too late, knowing that the people will be pissed and that they’ll be charging an arm and a leg for their land. So why not lie to them so they can get ripped off.
And now the great state of Georgia gets to have one of the Original Gangsters get involved in the doings of the state. The Rivian Plant was on its last legs. The corrupt POSs in Walton, Newton, Morgan had enough of getting cursed out by their fellow residents so they transferred everything to the state. And guess what? Guess who purchased 20,000,000 shares of Rivian to save the day.......George Soros. So, now the state is going to start seeing him stick his nose in the local District Attorney races, SOS, Lt Gov, Governor, Attorney General.
Rivian doesn’t stand a chance against Ford, Dodge, Chevy, Tesla, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Kia/Hyundai, Nissan Toyota and Honda. They’re vehicles are incredibly overpriced. Rivian entry level pickup is starting around $70k. No way Rivian is getting the materials needed for its vehicles before the Big 3, Tesla and the rest. But, the Kemp, et al will still let them build a 2000 acre monstrosity, in the middle of beautiful farm land, anyway.

No worries. All the same road actually. Doesn’t change names until you go under 75.
Yeah, it’s one of those Atlanta roads that changes names a bunch of times, though this time it’s a little less noticeable. E. Paces Ferry => W. Paces Ferry => Paces Ferry. Starts out sort of on the back side of Lenox Mall, going west it changes from E to W where I believe this event occurred, at/near the intersection with THE Peachtree St. (not one of the zillion other Peachtrees), then turns into Paces Ferry after it crosses under I-75, goes thru Vinings, then crosses I-285, where HD HQ is at.
Confusing to say the least for those who haven’t been around it for a long time.

I know, right? Once, I was late RSVPing to a "low country crab boil" in an upscale suburb in Georgia because I had been seriously ill; yet the diva handling the guest list scolded me for asking if I could still RSVP. So I said, "I'm so sorry that my having been hospitalized has inconvenienced you."
