The imminent invasion of Ukraine by Russia entered its 200th week with news that the invasion could be “any time, literally within the next few days, weeks, months, years, decades or centuries,” according to a source familiar with American intelligence.
Resident Biden said that he had information that “pretty much proves” that Russian forces, located in Russia, might not be later, they might be located in Ukraine, or perhaps Belarus or even Chad, just to make something up for fun.
Chad president the guy with the name I can’t pronounce said that he “trembled in fear” and rushed troops to his northern border which he said “apparently is up some place near Libya of all places, who knew?”
Meanwhile, former president Donald Trump continues to be investigated for possible competent leadership. A House committee is asking for documents related to his able management of the economy and following through on election promises. “This sort of thing cannot be tolerated,” said House Speaker Nazi Pal-lousy, “or it might spiral into control.”
The climate emergency just got worse with news that drizzle has broken out in Salem, Oregon. Troops are being rushed to the scene to deal with severe drizzle consequences that climate scientists warn can only get worse with time.

In the Russian media I read a series of interviews with separatist fighters in DPR/LPR.
They are calling for the volunteers from Russia who came in and fought beside them in 2014 to come back in and fight beside them again.
They were bemoaning the fact that in 2014 the fighters were ideologically motivated to fight for the Russian people but whereas now a lot of the young soldiers in the forces are there for a paycheck.
A lot of them were disappointed and disillusioned with the results of the 2014 war, they had fully expected to defeat the Ukrainian army and create a Novorossiya - a New Russia - basically out of the entire Donbass region and beyond, all the way to Odessa.
DPR and LPR claim legally the entire provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk but the separatists only managed to “liberate” about a third of this area.
They think if they attack now they can successfully capture at least the full extent of the two provinces and in fact go all the way to Kiev.
They want Russia to increase the weapons and supplies to them.
My own impression is that the pro-Putin Russian media is trying hard to convince the Russian public that there is a justification to go in and attack Ukraine.
That is what these false flag random shellings in the separatist area and Rostov are about, they showed a claimed undercover Ukrainian agent in the DPR customs department before television cameras, they are constantly repeating the claim that Ukraine is now starting an attack to completely reclaim the separatist areas (sure, they choose to do so at a time when 190,000 Russian troops are on the borders in attack formation on three sides of their country).
As well as the claim that LPR/DPR are evacuating 700,000 people into Rostov in Russia. But on social media people showing photos of the departure points are saying relatively few people are actually leaving and getting on these buses and going to Rostov.
A deputy in the Russian Duma proposed housing the 700,000 refugees in the homes of people in Russia who have died of coronavirus!
In social media, there is a lot of cynicism, on the one hand people sympathize greatly with the residents of Donbass, fellow slavs etc. but on the other hand also suspect a lot of Kremlin bots and Ukrainian bots are manipulating the media.
I’m not sure Russian public opinion is really buying what the Kremlin is putting out. And I think that is significant for Putin.
I now suspect the plan is for the separatists (organized and supplied by the Russian military) to mount breakout attacks against Ukrainian forces while the Russian media fabricates a narrative that in fact the opposite is occurring, that Ukraine is attacking and attempting to recover the separatist areas.
When Ukrainian forces defend themselves from the separatist attack, then the massive Russian military bombards them with artillery and missiles and rolls across the border to “save” the separatist area from being conquered by Ukraine.
At the same time, Putin uses intelligence forces and loyal locals to try to depose the government in Kiev and disrupt the command and control of the Ukrainian military, with the goal of putting a puppet regime in power.
Does Putin try to take all of Ukraine militarily or just the eastern half? Who knows, but the more of Ukraine he tries to take the more casualties he will both inflict and sustain the greater of refugee crisis he will create with a greater international blowback effect.

I’ll just add one theory of mine, that the massive Russian forces that have been moved into Belarus to the border with Ukraine and on the Russian borders with Ukraine are there at least in part to force Ukraine to reposition some its forces away from the front lines with the separatists.
Before this Russian troop build-up, Ukraine had a large part of its military in the region facing the separatists.
When they have to reposition some of the forces back to other parts of the country to defend against a Russian invasion, that weakens the forces facing LPR/DPR, increasing the prospects for success by breakout attacks out of the separatist areas against Ukrainian forces (if that is indeed Putin’s plan).
WMD were found in possession of the Russian military.
It is possible that this report will turn out to be true. But “intelligence” sources have lied so often, and the leftist scum media reported these lies so uncritically that both have zero credibility.
Let me know when Putin gets to Kiev.
