US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy announced Friday that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Murthy wrote in a long thread on Twitter that his wife and 5-year-old son were also positive for the virus and had mild symptoms. His 4-year-old daughter, who was the first in his family to test positive, is “doing ok” and has an improving fever days after he announced that she has the virus, he added.
In announcing his diagnosis, Murthy spoke to the millions of Americans who have also tested positive for Covid-19, saying that he recognizes the emotions that may come with contracting the virus.
“When you’ve been as safe as you can, getting COVID-19 can be frustrating and disappointing. I’ve felt that. It can also be a source of shame. Many people assume you must have been careless to get sick. Our safety measures reduce risk but they can’t eliminate risk. Nothing can,” the surgeon general said.
“So if you’ve done everything you can and gotten COVID-19 anyway, don’t beat yourself up. A lot of us are doing the best we can. And let’s not assume those who get sick are careless. We don’t know people’s circumstances. They may not be able to protect themselves the way we can,” he added.
Murthy also stressed the importance of being vaccinated and boosted against the virus and reiterated the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccine.

In other words, we’ve never heard of testing positive for common flu because, to the best of my knowledge, there never was an over-the-counter test for flu.

Reading this guy’s words it’s almost as though he volunteered his family, especially his younger kids, to get covid to push vaccinations for little kids.
He doesn’t sound qualified to own a pet, nevermind be a parent or Surgeon General of the United States.
Wonder if he used those gov’t provided test kits (made in China) - pre-made to test positive for COVID regardless.

No medicine available for frustration, disappoint, and shame; BUT there IS medicine available for covid. Yet I see no mention of therapeutics.
How are he and his family being treated? With nothing?
Woke emotions of the vaxxed and more future shots seem to be all he is concerned with speaking publicly about.

The faux vaccines cannot prevent infection. They cannot prevent transmission. High case rates follow high vax rates in nearly every highly vaxxed nation on earth. The vaccines have unacceptably high death and injury rates. Time to STOP THE INSANITY.

I’m in a circle of four old (46 year) friends scattered about the country. 2 unvaxxed, 2 vaxxed. The only one of the four who has caught Covid is the only one had gotten all 3 shots at the time. A 2nd member has now gotten the booster, so we figure he’s next.
Yup.
If it’s good enough for everyone else, it’s good enough for him.
Hey dumb a**....The vaccines don’t prevent Covid...NEVER DID.
They introduced the Polio Vaccine after eliminating the source of the spread of polio by enforcing better water treatment, sewage treatment and mandatory pasteurization ....hmmmm
