Diversity, equity and inclusion in the military are necessities for the United States, Bishop Garrison, the senior advisor to the secretary of defense for human capital and diversity, equity and inclusion said.
Garrison spoke to the Center for a New American Security today about the progress being made by the department and what still needs to happen.
Some 41 percent of the military identify as members of minority groups, and that number will grow larger, Garrison said. The military must be able to attract, train and retain them for the services to retain competitive edges, he said.

How did all that “diversity” work out in Afghanistan?
The objective competency measures have already been all but dismantled. Womyn can't compete on the same level as men so even the handicap scores have been ignored when they can't be met. Want one of these watching your back in a combat environment?

No..the military needs to train people to shoot, follow orders. and stand up to Protect the USA.
A lot of very fine young men are going to be leaving. Army life is difficult enough, but constant deployments and over use makes it very difficult. My SIN law calls the 82nd, 101st and 10th Mt Div a dead end. It kills families and careers. Politics are rampant and it is difficult for an old school soldier to get ahead. Just add this diversity, equity and inclusion BS and it is even worse. My understanding from my SIN that his fellow soldiers are from all kinds of background, and the vast majority do not have any issues with race or ethnic background. So there isn't a diversity problem or whatever you want to call it.
Abstractly, there is a training and readiness problem. Every moment spent on diversity training is a moment not spent doing their daily jobs or not training to kill and break things. It is a waste of money and reduces readiness. It makes America weak.

“Equity” is only possible if all the troops are dead.

Since the end of WWII ...
If the “woke” military ever goes to battle against Russian forces - there is no plan, no training on how to fight a long sustained war. There would be a wake up call as body bags returned home in the thousands (if the planes carrying the bodies were not shot down).
