'We should be listening to epidemiologists, infectious disease experts, virologists,' Sask. doctor says
Some health experts in the province are frustrated after Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe published a letter on social media yesterday that included the statement that "vaccination is not reducing transmission."
The letter was in support of semi-trailer convoys and rallies held across the country to protest a federal policy that requires truck drivers entering Canada from the United States to be fully vaccinated.
On the second page of the document, the premier announced the end of Saskatchewan's proof of negative test and proof of vaccination policy "in the not-too-distant future."
"Vaccination does not keep you from contracting COVID-19, but it does prevent most people from becoming seriously ill," said Moe.
"Because vaccination is not reducing transmission, the current federal policy for truckers makes no sense. An unvaccinated trucker does not pose any greater risk of transmission than a vaccinated trucker."
Physicians call Moe's statements "false" On social media, Regina infectious diseases specialist Dr. Alex Wong called Moe's two statements about vaccines not preventing people from contracting COVID-19 and immunization not reducing transmission "false."
"Many studies show 3 doses of mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) provides 60-70% protection (vaccine effectiveness, VE) vs Omicron infection," he said Saturday on Twitter.
"If you don't get infected, then you don't transmit the virus."
Wong wrote even with Omicron being more contagious than previous variants, three doses of vaccine can make a big difference, preventing people from getting really sick and reducing the chance of being infected.

They worked against regular Covid... They kind of worked against the Delta version... But none of them work against Omicron... And if you get Omicron, and you're relatively healthy you will survive it... If you aren't healthy, you may die... Then again, people get common colds and die from them... Because they aren't healthy to begin with... And over 60% of Canada's deaths have been people 80 and over... The vast majority in nursing homes and most nursing homes badger their residents into signing DNR forms... I.E. Do Not Resuscitate... The proof?
Only 10% of ICU admissions were people 80 and over... And they make up the vast majority of the deaths.
The doctor who objects to the Premiers comments even admits that vaccines won't stop you from getting covid "Vaccination does not keep you from contracting COVID-19, but it does prevent most people from becoming seriously ill," said Moe."... He claims that you won't be seriously ill if you are vaccinated... Then again... 99% of the people who got Covid before vaccines were even available survived Covid and most didn't become 'seriously ill'... Because they were young and healthy.
To keep pushing the narrative that vaccines work, just doesn't stand up to reality... Everybody is now getting Covid, vaccinated and unvaccinated and everybody who is relatively healthy will survive... Vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Those who die will typically be unhealthy people.
They first sold vaccines saying they would keep you from getting covid... Then they said, it would keep you from transmitting to those who are sick... Now they are claiming that you don't get as sick if you're vaccinated... The bottom line is this... They don't work anymore... Period!
And I've had 3 shots... So I'm not anti-vaccination... If you want your shots... Get them, but don't expect that you won't get Covid and pass it on to others, because you likely will. Just make sure that you stay home while your sick.

Vaccination may reduce deaths from Covid, but it does NOT reduce transmission. The most heavily vaccinated countries in the world have recently seen - or are still experiencing - massive increases in new Covid cases - 300% to 800% higher than pre-vaccine is typical, and some (e.g., Germany, Belgium, Norway, The Netherlands, Luxembourg) are much higher than that.

Which still leaves the conundrum in calling these gene manipulating shots a ‘vaccine’. Of course they changed the definitions of a vaccine from conferring immunity to just providing ‘protection’. Still does not change the fact that these RNA concoctions are not the traditional vaccines that actually keep you from getting a disease. If anything it appears to impact the immune system more with every booster till you aren’t immune from anything anymore.
When omicron ripped through New York in December into early January, we had an outbreak in my office and our NYC office.
20 people + wives got omicron, 19 were vaxxed and about half were boosted.
I know 53 people that got it overall, only 9 were not vaxxed and 5 of the 9 were children.

Here in this State, the Governor is still requiring masking until February 16th, and the procedure will be evaluated every two weeks.
She is ignoring the CDC official guidelines that masks are between 4% - and 10% effective, but mandates masks anyway. IDIOT !

Well, that is true. For a few weeks. Then the third dose effectiveness falls off fast. And indications are a 4th dose falls off even faster.
At this point, the most critical point is this: For the vast majority of people, Omicron IS “just a cold”. It is no more deadly than the flu was a few years ago. You feel rotten for a few days. Stay home, take DayQuil and in a few days you’ll be better.
Any you will then have BETTER long term immunity and resistance than the vaccines can give.
PS: Like you, I’ve been vaccinated twice (spring) and caught it. Wife and one of my kids were vaccinated a couple of months ago for the first time - and they caught it. A grandkid who had it before? Caught it again.
But way over 99% of people catching COVID, before vaccines existed, survived. Most have a “bad flu” and then go on. A FEW people catch it and then take a turn for the worse. But if that didn’t happen to you the first time, it won’t the second. MOST PEOPLE, before vaccination, already had strong resistance to the virus. And Omicron is, per the CDC. TEN TIMES MORE SURVIVABLE!
So...what in the HELL are we running scared for? And I’m using “the Royal we” because no one in my family has been worried since this began.

Most unvaccinated people don’t get seriously ill with Covid, either.
The absolute best case scenario with Delta was 10X less death/hospitalization within 1 month of the Vax. With Omicron, its unknown, but its looking like best case it is maybe 3X agaist death and hospitilization...but even that is for the sickly, obese and the elderly and it likely wanes to nothing in a couple months.
The young/healthy have no business getting this vax against Omicron.

I waited to get vaccinated to see if was effective against Delta, but when Biden mandated it, I said “Oh hell know”.
Turned in my Religious Exemption (The church of Science) and told my Govt contracting employer you are going to have to fire me (and I’m going to not go quietly).
My Vaccinated wife got Omicron, but my 13 month old Natural immunity had me passing 3 tests.
I have Tickets to Hamilton tommorow I bought over two years ago and they require proof of vaccination. I told my wife totake her Liberal sister. I am never getting vaccinated against Covid. F-them all.
