Musk Calls Biden ‘A Damp Sock Puppet’ As Tesla Shares Tank
Forbes ^ | Jan 28, 2022,06:30am EST | Alan Ohnsman

T esla CEO Elon Musk called President Joe Biden “a damp sock puppet in human form” on Twitter Thursday as Tesla stock plummeted 11%.

Musk’s lack of restraint on social media is, as the saying goes, a feature not a bug, having landed him in legal hot water multiple times. Another Musk tweet—“Biden is treating the American public like fools”—was part of a one-sided Twitter offensive waged against the president. Biden didn’t retaliate, at least not directly. The White House did post a tweet with the president extolling Tesla rivals General Motors and Ford for their work on developing electric vehicles. “Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before,” Biden says to GM CEO Marry Barra in the post. Tesla, the world’s biggest EV maker, wasn’t mentioned.

Tesla also wasn’t mentioned Wednesday at a White House event at which Biden heaped praise on the CEOs of GM, Ford and engine-maker Cummins for their work on EVs. It’s not clear if Musk was even invited to attend.

Musk was evidently prepared to pay any price to escalate his feud with Biden. While he tweeted on Thursday, Musk personally lost $24.5 billion as Tesla stock tanked.

Good think Warren ordered him to liquidate a significant part of his holdings.

I never saw Forbes standing up for DJT against Twitter attacks. All of a sudden the dignity of the office is an issue? Sounds like a double standard to me.

Tesla stock dropped because it was a bit overvalued due to overly high expectations. Call it frothy. They still recorded far higher YoY profits and deliveries, just not as fabulous as some had bet.

Musk has every right to make fun of the empty husk haunting the White Hut. He took on the giants of industry and buried them.

If we put him and the rest of Thiel’s gang in charge of the monetary side of the government the US would become a cash geyser. Instead, we have a grungy, low rent grifter trying to suck the cash out of the economy into his family overseas accounts.

Someone should tell the failed English major/Brandon Media newspuppet Alan Ohnsman that correlation does not equal causation.

Hmm, this is starting to look like a conspiracy:

"Ukip MEP Nigel Farage told Herman Van Rompuy, the president of the EU, he had "all the charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk" in the European parliament yesterday." Old Guardian Article

Biden can't find the Velcro on his adult diapers, let alone figure out how to send a tweet on Twitter...

Biden is - irrelevant, overly audacious, and most definitely not autonomous.

As President, Joe Biden has failed more ignominiously than even Warren G. Harding, who at least had the good grace to die before his first term in office was up.

“It’s not clear if Musk was even invited to attend.”

I’m sure this is news to the media, but a lot of people have absolutely no desire to hobnob with the vile scum in Wash, DC. I doubt that Musk gives a single fig about being invited to party with the Looter Class.

Tesla is non-union, so of course, the Brandon Regime will do all it can to tank Tesla and promote unionized Detroit automakers. Wall Street Democrat Loyalists would follow suit.
