Perhaps the WH made that “announcement” for Breyer to force his hand? Need to find some way to move Heels Up out and make room for Her Thighness.
There is a definite sense that Breyer is being pressured and manipulated into this resignation. He’s in good health and has no other reason to resign except to relieve the political pressure. Maybe he is that weak, who knows. He is a run-of-the-mill liberal after all.

I think that’s EXACTLY what they did, to get the black woman appointed ASAP, to take the attention away from the tanking economy, millions of illegal criminal alien invaders coming across the southern border etc etc etc.
