Consider the Virginia's governor's race: out of 3.3 million votes, Youngkin won by only 65,000 votes and that is with a perfect storm - covered up sexual assaults to protect a so-called transgender student in Loudoun County (which Youngkin lost by 10,000 votes), out of control school boards, mandates, etc etc.

Many people prefer to be told what to do and what to think - it makes their life easier - so they think.

We will be hanging by a thread for a long time until this strain of incompetent command and control is defeated. It will take a long and sustained effort. We will have to be happy with incremental changes for the moment. Most of the republican party still does not want to fight, push back or whatever you want to call it.
