Hochul’s mask mandate was unenforceable anyway. 41 of 65 New York State counties openly defied her and said they would not enforce it.
Even the NYC suburbs in Long Island and Westchester would not cooperate.
In CT the Governor has allowed cities and towns to mandate masks. Recently with the Omicron Coof several put in mandates, some for the 4 time (including the statewide one). This time, in most businesses, no one enforced it. The sheep complied but if you didn’t 99.9% of places just ignored the mandate and some didn’t even put up signs.
