Former President Donald Trump continues to lead the field of potential Republican presidential candidates in a hypothetical GOP primary, a McLaughlin & Associates survey released this week found.

“Thinking ahead to the 2024 Republican primary election for President, if that election were held today among the following candidates, for whom would you vote?” the survey, taken January 13-18, asked Republican voters.

One hopes that the term RINO surgically wielded by Trump can rid us of this cancer. Being called a RINO by Trump should be grounds for resignation.

Hillary` got the nomination ONLY because she could raise a lot of money for the party.

But let's look at her history....She lost to an unknown, clean, articulate, black, muslim, male opponent whose achievements were in social work.

The truth is....the Dems don't have a candidate for 2024. Hillary already proved she is a consistent LOSER.

It certainly appears that Trump will be the nominee, if he wants to run again.

If Trump chooses not to run, then we have a muddled field.

Its still over two years until the iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, which is a lifetime in politics. So anything can happen. But as of now, the nomination is Trump’s if he wants it.

There really is no other candidate. Rubio is needed in the Senate, he’s staying there. DeSantis already said he wants to serve two terms for the people of Florida, so he can run later, maybe 2028 after Trump is term limited.

IMHO Republicans have three de facto leaders right now—Trump, Rand Paul, and DeSantis. Two of them are staying where they are, one is coming back.

"2024 will be a RINO clown car."

He probably had that same lead in 2020. That's why the fraudsters had to shut everything down, to adjust their efforts to eliminate him, and put Biden in The White House.

Rubio should consider running for national office AFTER he stops looking like the high-school nerd who won class president and then started showing up to school wearing a suit and tie every day.

Anyone who runs against Trump will forfeit their political future. The last election was stolen from President Trump. His winning a resounding victory in 2024 is the only way to redeem our democracy. I won’t vote for anyone else. Furthermore, I won’t ever again vote for anyone who runs against him in 2024. Opposing the restoration of our democracy is a permanent disqualification for future office.

” But as of now, the nomination is Trump’s if he wants it.”

That’s what worries me most. In 2016 Trump took them by surprise. I worry that the Deep State plan is to make sure Trump is either dead or in jail before the next one.

No surprise - he’d essentially be running as a equivalent of an incumbent as a former President.
