Preteens may be vaxed without parents under California bill

California would allow children age 12 and up to be vaccinated without their parents' consent, the youngest age of any state, under a proposal late Thursday by a state senator.

“Giving young people the autonomy to receive life-saving vaccines, regardless of their parents’ beliefs or work schedules, is essential for their physical and mental health,” he said. “It’s unconscionable for teens to be blocked from the vaccine because a parent either refuses or cannot take their child to a vaccination site.”

In a way these are good bills as perhaps (hopefully) some of the 80% or so of conservative parents who STILL send their kids to public schools will GET THE MESSAGE that they shouldn’t be dumping their kids off with government workers, and just may stop doing that.

Not much of a surprise. Kids 12 and up in California can take hormone blockers, sex-change hormones, etc. without parental consent.

There is no age limit on getting an abortion - your parent’s are left out of the decision.

It makes sense I guess. Parents have limited experience and knowledge. Only the Federal Government has all the experience, research, studies, and professionals to determine what is right for people.

(An aside. I was a bit taken aback when my wife and I left the hospital with our first child. “Wait - that’s it!? No classes, no instructions, no study material!!??”)

Funny though - in only a few days we knew what was best for our child. Taking good advice from others, and ignoring bad advice as well.

My next door neighbor...the 1st time she got covid was after she got her covid shot, she was a nurse at the time. Now she’s had at least one booster and is now in administration at the same hospital she was a nurse in, and has covid AGAIN.

Leftists are tone deaf and lack situational awareness. This legislation is being publicized using media megaphones. There is a train wreck in the making and there is going to a head on collision between the vote for this legislation and the publishing of the research on the dangers of serious side effects of the vaccines on children

When are you proles going to learn? They are the state’s children and you are only given permission to feed and house them until they are fully indoctrinated and released into society to perform their duties to the state.
