His negatives all relate to his shitty personality. Caustic, obnoxious, frequently puerile and immature, habitually saying stupid things because he’d rather go off the cuff than prepare notes on topics he isn’t very familiar with.

Like it or not, these things turn off voters that any (R) needs in order to win. In 2016 my daily drive looked like a Trump rally, so many houses had Trump signs. In 2020, far fewer Trump signs, and many houses were sporting Biden signs instead. When I mentioned it here I was accused of being a secret Biden lover.

When Hillary scheduled a flurry of campaign events in the Midwest the week before the election in 2016, a lot of us knew it was ballgame then and there. When Trump did the same, campaigning in Georgia last-minute in 2020, people here refuse to believe that Trump could possibly have lost Georgia, no, it MUST have been stolen.
