As a former government teacher, I believe in the concept of a “loyal opposition”. I believe Manchin and Sinema could be the basis of a new patriotic democrtic party after the communist scum we have now are voted out this fall.

Yes, you’re probably right. The present iteration of the democratic party needs to go the way of the Know-Nothing party. But we need a 2 party system in America to function. I honestly don’t trust a lot of republicans. I did have some respect for Truman and Kennedy (not fdr)in the past.
What pray tell does race have to do with politics and the filibuster? Democrats are always trying to throw race into everything to hide their history of racism and segregation.
