Ebola is not that contagious with modern health care and burial standards. In 2014 I was in the same bar at the same time not more than 6 feet from the Vietnamese nurse who broke quarantine while actively sick with Ebola in East Dallas. The CDC went to the bar got all the credit card receipts and tracked each of us down within a two hour plus and minus time frame from when she was in tha bar. I remember seeing her it was a small place with a under 40 capacity. Point is Ebola is not airborne like covid or flu.

I had the same thought. But if China has been playing “gain of function” with Ebola, then all sorts of nastiness is possible. I’ve learned not to rely on the good intentions of despots, nor to underestimate their potential malevolence.
