EXCLUSIVE: Numerous FLORIDA Clinical Schools Grant ZERO Religious Or Medical Exemptions To Students
Big League Politics ^

Posted on 12/30/2021 2:26:12 PM PST by Tench_Coxe

In an exclusive leak given to Big League Politics by a current nursing student who chose to remain anonymous for fear of blowback, we were able to confirm that students who attend Florida’s Keiser University and practice at the Cleveland Clinic are being forced to take Covid-19 inoculations. What’s more, Florida’s Cleveland Clinic, which hosts various medical students, has explicitly stated that they refuse to grant any type of exemption – including ones for religious and even medical reasons.

The Cleveland Clinic needs to be confronted with this.
No exemptions, but they lifted the mandate for those who they need to work (right now).
Any bets they plan to start axing people once the heat is off?
If I were a Clinic employee that refused the vaxx, this would have me considering making an exit.

My understanding is that it’s legally difficult to deny religious exemptions but legally easy to deny medical exemptions.

The Marines granted 22 religious exemptions out of over 2000 requests.

Sorry to hear that.

I’m a federal employee supervisor and I’ve granted (or plan to grant, as all requests for exemptions are “on hold”) 100% of my religious exemption requests. (One granted out of one request.)

One of my sons was initially denied religious exemption at UNR. Once challenged on their reasoning, “personal preference”, they quickly reversed course and approved his exemption. Do people just take the first answer or do they fight, like we did?

They did? I thought it was zero approved.

If they approve one religious exemption, but not another, haven’t they just performed a religious test? And concluded some passed and some failed?

Another recent update provided to BLP by the student explained that Cleaveland Clinic has apparently claimed to have dropped the mandate, but Keiser University has continued the policy in spite of this. The school reportedly still uses the same Cleaveland Clinic form when referencing their policy.

The anonymous student who shared the exclusive documents with BLP told us that they had attempted to share the story with numerous media outlets, only to be brushed off. They also indicated repeated attempts to get in contact with Governor Ron Desantis and a local congressman through various mediums, all to no avail.

“I have tried DeSantis and Brian Mast and no one has responded or acknowledged this situation. I know other nursing students have brought it up to them as well.”

Let’s be honest: The vast majority of claims for religious exemptions are nothing but an excuse to avoid vaccination. Those claiming religion as a reason should have to justify that claim. Do they attend a church? Does that church have a policy on vaccinations? Have they every taken other vaccinations without claiming a religious exemption.

Firstly the freedom of religion does not require membership in an organized church. Secondly, you can’t just declare all vaccines the same, as some are made from the corpses of murdered children. Thirdly, the medical history of a patient is somewhat irrelevant since beliefs can change over time.

I realize that fundamental human rights can be inconvenient to tyrants, but that’s the way it SHOULD be.

Seriously? So you think people are simply lying? And you measure a person's religious fervor on their church and whether they attend? And what should they say or do to meet your 'justify their claim'?

And what about those other vaccines? We have all of our other shots current, but refuse Covid experimental vaccines on religious grounds. Does that invalidate our claim? Why?

And who gets to play God and decide if someone is religious enough, a member of the right church, attended enough, can write the correct words, or not?

How did you fight?

Were there appeals outlined in a process? Or did your son simply start writing emails/making calls.
I have a family member who is still pending—but did find out today that they can work until their R.E. status has been determined even tho the company website says Jan 1 is deadline date...

Some have told family member there is an appeal process, others have said there is not—nothing on website. outrageous.

I thought DeSantis was ahead of this stating employees would not/could not be fired for not wanting the jabs?

I thought so too.
The fact that student is not getting a response might be cause for concern wrt "all hat, no cattle".
Hopefully they persist.

Yes, based upon the comments here on FreeRepublic where numerous posters have claimed just that.
