Perhaps one more week and we will know for sure, but at this point it would be a stunning reversal if Omicron were NEARLY as dangerous as earlier strains. And the Omicron’s mildness is not because South Africa is highly vaccinated; only about 1 in 4 South Africans is fully vaccinated.
What has not yet been said - and will surely NOT be by the media - is that assuming this data holds, Omicron’s emergence should end any and all vaccination efforts with the mRNA or DNA/AAV vaccines. Their risk profile has been steadily worsening - one has yet coherently explained the synchronized rise in all-cause mortality in highly vaccinated countries. The Netherlands saw all-cause mortality 41 percent above normal (yes, 41 percent) in its most recent week of data. Only one of five of those deaths was Covid related.

Maybe not but it’s the beginning of the end. “Little O” is gonna do what Delta failed to do… bring herd immunity and reduce COVID-19 to endemic status.
I don’t think the vaccination efforts will ever end. It’s become an industry with billions at stake. The lies we will be compelled to believe will just get bigger.
There apparently is some evidence that Omnicron may have been around since 2020 and actually is not a new variant at all.
Maybe even this time it might REALLY be too bad if that "novel" virus was to have maybe a FIVE OR TEN percent mortality rate instead of just a .01 percent mortality rate.
Gee, if that was to happen then the vaccines would REALLY REALLY have to be mandatory, with passport apps and stuff and maybe even, you know, "biometric" vaccination credentials.
They'd have to march people in at gunpoint just to be sure.
That sure would be too bad, but on the bright side look at all the money someone would make.
Dr. Robert Malone was on Steve Bannon’s War Room yesterday talking the early data concerning Omicron could be just what we needed to end this pandemic, a very mild, very contagious variant that would act somewhat like a real vaccine and create natural immunity in enough people to achieve herd immunity.

That's a little surprising in light of the fact that, at this time, it is thought to be more contagious than alpha or delta. If it has been around, why hasn't it "bubbled" to the top of the heap before now?
