During an interview with Colorado Public Radio on Thursday released on Friday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) defended his refusal to reinstitute a state mask mandate by saying that the coronavirus “emergency is over” and state public health officials don’t “get to tell people what to wear.” Polis also argued that because vaccines have been available for a long time, “People who want to be protected are.” And that “If you haven’t been vaccinated, that’s your choice. I respect that. But it’s your fault when you’re in the hospital with COVID.”

I would also ask Polis if it’s his fault if he gets AIDS or Hep C because of homosexual sex.
It appears he is saying people are responsible for their own behavioral choices. Does that apply to homosexual men? Because, according to the left and gay men, of which he surely is both, it has not been up to now.
If there is one leftist constituency that has been repeatedly told that they are not responsible for their own lifestyle choices, it is gay men. Polis *thinks* he is married to a man, so that includes him.
1. I KNOW some diseases happen even if the person takes care of themself and accidents happen even if one is careful.
2. Following comments are response to certain health people, politicians and talking heads who thing the unvaxed should pay for their own health care if they get hospitalized.
If you are obese and and not doing healthy
things to ease it and end up in the hospital is that your fault? Or diabetic and not watching your levels?
He's up for reelection next year and Democrat numbers are eroding even here.

I expect that the answer he would give is that it is somehow the unvaccinated who would be to blame. Even if the hospitalized vaccinated person was infected by a vaccinated individual.
There never was an emergency.

If you have been vaccinated, that’s your choice. I respect that. Then it follows that it’s your fault if you are in the hospital with Wuhan/Fauci virus for being stupid enough to believe that the jabs and boosters would protect you.
