Trump slams Netanyahu in curse-fueled interview for congratulating Biden: 'F--- him'
fox ^ | 12/10/2021

Trump accused Netanyahu of speaking up too quickly following what the former president has still yet to concede was a legitimate election. "Nobody did more for Bibi. And I liked Bibi. I still like Bibi," he said, referring to the former prime minister by his nickname. "But I also like loyalty. The first person to congratulate Biden was Bibi. And not only did he congratulate him, he did it on tape." Despite Trump’s condemnation of Netanyahu, the then-prime minister was not amongst one of the first world leaders to congratulate Biden for securing the presidential win. Netanyahu waited roughly 12 hours after the election had been called to congratulate Biden on his election.

“Because Jews think goys should fight and die for them.”

Sure, just like in the 6-day war.

This is another example of a self-inflicted wound that proves Trump is a poor politician. Great CEO, poor politician.

PS - I agree with his assessment but wish he had just kept his mouth shut (again) or put it in his book he can write in 7 years.

Every one of these threads turn into a pissing contest because many here on FR do not understand or care how this plays with the suburban women. Right, wrong, fair, or indifferent, the media worked overtime to separate Trump from the squishes and they did a really good job of it.

Trump helped them do it at every turn when all he needed to do was keep about 25% of his thoughts to himself. He played into the narrative of the media. Every President has thoughts like this and the rule of politics says it is better left for the retrospective book or interview, but that does not apply to someone thinking of running for a second term.

PS - I support Israel as the only democracy in the region, but Bibi’s job is solely to do what is best for Israel and not Trump or anyone else. Trump was the most pro-Israel President of my lifetime but what did he expect from Bibi?

OK, imho this is over the line. Cool your jets, President Trump. This is not helping in any way.

You and a bunch of others here need to stop falling for any anti-Trump nonsense the comes along. Some of the comments in this thread are an embarrassment to the forum.

You do realize that this was from a tell all book from comments he supposedly made to a reporter with an anti-Trump agenda... many months ago? “Cool your own jets” and save your idiotic lectures for an actual event that is recent and documented in a way that makes it possible to judge the context.

“Why wasn’t Israel part of the U.S. coalition going into Iraq?”

Because Bush asked them not to be part of it.

I’m with Trump who said that he still likes Bibi if you read carefully.

The MSM spin on this story revolves around President Trump’s expletive used in frustration.

The media wants to hurt Trump in their reporting of this.

Stabbed in the back by Israel yet again. And how many hundreds of billions have we given them? America First.

“...according to comments released from an interview taken by Israeli journalist Barak Ravid. ...”

When and where did this interview happen; what was the occasion for the interview??

Let’s have a full and accurate story.

I agree that we should wait for confirmation, but you should at least admit that it would not surprise us in the least if he said it.

I might have muttered the same thing under my breath when it happened even as I understood that Bibi was doing what he thought best for Israel (his job).

Can I see that link? And why would Bush risk America lives by reducing the size of the coalition?

Even if Bibi hated Xiden with an all consuming passion he’d still have to congratulate whoever won the Presidency of the USA.

Yet there is no audio of it?

Guess we have to trust the same fake media that told us that Trump was Putin puppet for 4 years that turned out to be a fake paper from Hillary and the Democrats. Oh and that Jussie Smollett was attacked by Trump supporters in middle of winter night in Chicago.

Netanyahu was the leader of a foreign country- one that relies heavily on the US for assistance against its many enemies. Bibi needs to have a cordial relationship with the new administration, regardless of their feelings about the new leader vs. the former leader. Israel cannot afford to show partiality- it would be bad diplomacy.

At least Israel is not like Britain, France, Germany and Spain, who openly campaign for one side (you know which side), and interfere in U.S. elections in many ways. I am surprised Republicans have not had a conversation about this, and in investigation at least. The Steele dossier was created by a "former" Brit agent. How former is he?

Congratulating a new office holder is not a crazy endorsement. It is just good diplomacy. Anything else is interfering in internal U.S. matters.

If Pres. Trump said this (and I take it with a big if), he should know better IMO.

“Can I see that link? And why would Bush risk America lives by reducing the size of the coalition?”

Bush asked Israel to stay out of it so he could get the Saudi’s and other Arab Nations to join. It was more important to have the Arabs on board for political reasons.

Personally I believe Israel could have taken down Iraq all by themselves but it wasn’t necessary to have them on board.

You can easily find this info yourself by doing a search asking why Israel was not part of the coalition.

I agree with your assessment. However, Trump should have held his tongue or been more diplomatic for the sake of “politics”. He loses more than he gains by dropping the F bomb even if many of us did when we first read this story.

This falls into the “I wish he had saved it for the book” category.
