Overturning Roe wouldn’t make abortions illegal; it would merely return the decision to the states where it belongs, unless the Supreme Court has the guts to acknowledge that a unique human life is created at fertilization.

Not at all, its called federalism it's up to the state to decide and no one expected Cal to make abortion illegal.
Personally I have mixed feelings about this. Its abhorrent that a baby is murdered but on the other hand, if progressive want to kill their offspring I'm not sure why I would want to stop them. Let their bloodline end.

Sadly my state of residence is populated with morons. The Supreme Court is NOT looking at banning abortion. Ending Row v Wade would simply leave it up to the states.

Not everyone shares a belief system on this issue, so there is no “community.” You perhaps believe life begins at conception and that abortion is murder; Orthodox Jews believe life begins with the first breath and that in some cases, as to save the life of the mother, abortion is mandatory.
So not only will abortion still be legal, California will pay for abortions for everybody everywhere. As long as the money lasts and the lights stay on.
All innocent little preborn babies, from conception forward, should be protected by law.

I’d prefer it this way. Of course my preference is abortion be illegal all together, but what I like about this is leaving the decision to the states. Let us finally as states be able to choose NO.
No. In this particular Constitutional republic, we make laws based on what the Constitution supports. It does not support legislating based on your religious beliefs.
There’s no such thing as a “preborn baby,” sorry. If you had the choice of rescuing from a fire a room full of unimplated embryos or a six-month-old baby, which would you save? No normal person would go for the embryos. When a full quarter of embryos go on to miscarry, they are not “preborn babies.”
We are not talking about your hypothetical and hypocritical situation. We are talking about babies with beating hearts, unique blood types, and their own DNA (all markers of human. life.) being murdered by being ripped apart and scraped out of their mothers’ wombs.
Where does the Constitution state abortion is a protected right beyond the rule of majoritarian rule?
