IIRC in the 80’s there was a very conservative Representative from Missouri with a German name-—same family???

I’d rather he run for Governor in 2024. I’m sure Kehoe wants it, so...two birds with one stone.
I’m more interested in getting to (and over) peak hysteria, not peak covid. This news sounds like we’re over.
Too bad Australia has no peak in sight. Ditto Germany. But civilized countries are just as vulnerable as uncivilized; as Germany has already demonstrated.
Ordinarily I’m leery of sociology but it does seem that people, in herd quantities, are liable to go insane, and go suddenly. This includes America but perhaps we have better brakes.

The edict is overdue everywhere.
There are simply no studies that show a real efficacy of masking and there are lots of studies that show they do not work against viruses AND have negative consequences (especially in children).
There have been a few studies that claim a 10% or low number benefit of masks but keep in mind that these are N95 mask (less than 10% of the masks I see) and they are changing them out frequently (not happening in real world).
That is the science regardless of what Fauci and the democrats say it is. It was the science before Covid and it will be the science after Covid.

One example/ travel banned here without shot yet our southern border is wide open no screening. And the majority of Americans are not bothered about this, see no inconsistency, think I am just an ideologue if I object.
Another: kids in SF have to do outdoor sports in masks yet adults can sit at dinner in a restaurant for hours no masks.
Totally insane. Even if you believe that covid is very communicable and deadly this makes zero sense. There are a hundred more examples.
Surprisingly enough, I think sanity is going to come back through the courts….and lawsuits by parents and concerned parties.
Masks are to the virus as chicken wire is to mosquitoes - ineffective.
Thank God for checks and balances that seem to be working. No system is perfect though.

Way back earlier this year when the pandemic was strong, our relatives from Kansas came, stopped at a convenience store on their way, put their mask on before entering (required everywhere they went in Kansas) and were astonished that no one in the convenience store was wearing a mask!
You're right, and not only are these decisions enjoining the mandate, but if you read carefully the 6th Circuit's decision that derides the OSHA edict as so purposefully, carelessly, hastily crafted simply to impinge on established constitutional freedoms, there's a big hint that sovereign immunity may not be an impediment to suing the goobermint in the near future over mandates, more particularly the White Hospice and their marxist mandarin cuckold chicken coop.

My property tax this year on one of my homes was just 230.00 .. and it’s a sweet little home too... I have a house in Marion IL that was my late sister’s and the tax there is 2700.00/yr whew!
