If there's trouble in the world, in the economy, China and Russia can take the hit. They're tough and mean.
We can't. We're too diverse. Too fractured. A drug addict died in police custody last year, and this nation nearly fell apart with months of rioting. Not to mention fights at the grocery store over toilet paper.
We are no longer one people, united. Americans can co-exist so long as things are peaceful and prosperous. But if things get bad, we tear each other to pieces, no mercy.
Our troops exist to quell the native population. Not to protect the borders. And unable any longer to police the world. We are a spent empire, as Pat Buchanan in the 1990s warned we would be.
