If anyone is looking for Christmas in a chinese shipping container, they’re looking in the wrong place.
There are 7000+ Chassis spread out in the Midwest and East waiting to be hauled back to LA & Long Beach.
It will take months to find drivers to haul these chassis back - or haul them back on RR Flat cars.

From what I heard the problem is a lot of retailers went out of business and failed to pick up the merchandise they ordered. Also, exports from the US has almost stopped meaning the goods are coming in, but nothing comes out and the containers remain in the US in great numbers producing severe shortage and ruining the supply line Worldwide.
The Chinese are so short on shipping containers that they even refuse bulk shipments from Russia, demanding most of everything containerized to replenish shortage.
The more cost and delays of junk from China the better off the nation will be.

They put Buttigieg in Transportation so he could disburse billions of dollars in discretionary funding to the states on projects HE would approve, buying favors in the process pursuant to 2024.
They are protecting him.
This needs to hang like a noose around Buttigieg’s neck, not Biden’s stick supporting the empty head.
