Health and medical experts believe that the current vaccines authorized in the U.S. provide at least some protection against the Omicron variant and that boosters strengthen that protection significantly.

The "experts" believe? In other words, they have no clue. The new strategy of pushing boosters to prevent Omicron is just a guess. They have no idea if the current vaccines are effective or not against Omicron, yet they're about to launch a massive campaign to persuade everyone to get vaccinated/boosted.

I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how stupid these people really are.
